Return & Refund Policy

At Houseofwear, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our Return & Refund Policy is designed to provide clarity on how returns and refunds are handled for products ordered through our website or WhatsApp.

1. Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted if:

  • The product is unused

  • The product is unwashed

  • The product is in original condition

  • All tags and packaging are intact

Returns must be requested within 3 days of delivery. Products not meeting the above criteria may not qualify for return.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and quality reasons, certain items may not be eligible for return such as:

  • Innerwear

  • Socks

  • Fragrance/Perfumes (once opened)

  • Customized or altered items

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, contact our support team on WhatsApp at 8800337448 with:

  • Order details

  • Reason for return

  • Product pictures (if applicable)

Our team will review and guide you through the next steps.

4. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping charges unless:

  • The product delivered is incorrect

  • The product is defective

  • A size or item mismatch occurred due to our side

In such cases, we will arrange the pickup or compensate for courier charges depending on location.

5. Exchanges

If the product is eligible for an exchange, customers may request:

  • Size exchange

  • Color exchange (subject to availability)

  • Product-to-product exchange (difference in pricing may apply)

If preferred item is out of stock, customers may opt for refund or store credit.

6. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  • Incorrect item delivered

  • Damaged or defective product delivered

  • Product unavailable after payment

  • Return approved and verified

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Wrong size chosen by customer (exchange is offered instead)

  • Change of mind after delivery

  • Products used or damaged after opening

7. Refund Timeline

Once the returned item is inspected and approved, refund will be processed within 3–7 working days via the original payment method or UPI transfer. For COD orders, refund will be issued through bank transfer or UPI.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch. Once shipped, cancellation is not possible. In case of prepaid cancellations, refund timelines apply.

9. Color & Variation Disclaimer

Minor color variations due to screen brightness, camera lighting, or display settings are not considered defects.
